Bear family: Fiat has unveiled the Grizzly, a new model for the brand and the fourth in its passenger lineup. The range now includes the 500 and 600 with soft styling, while the Panda and Grizzly feature a more aggressive leisure vehicle look. It is slated to reach Israel during the first half of 2027. The official announcement came as part of Stellantis group's work plans through the end of the decade under new CEO Antonio Filosa.

The Grizzly will be offered in two body styles, similar to the related Citroen C4. The standard version measures 4.4 meters long, while the fastback features a sharply sloping rear window and stretches to 4.5 meters. Luggage capacity stands at 600 liters.

Gasoline or electric: The Grizzly will use the group's familiar powertrains: a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with mild-hybrid assistance (48V) and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, or the same engine without mild-hybrid support paired with a six-speed manual. An all-electric version will also be available, likely similar to the C3 Aircross with 113 horsepower, front-wheel drive and a 54 kWh battery.

The design adopts a boxy profile with distinctive front and rear lighting units, plus rugged touches including black body cladding and roof rails. Inside, drivers get Fiat's signature two-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen and a handy storage area beneath the center console.

Our take: Fiat is riding positive momentum with the new Panda, which has enjoyed strong sales and high demand across Europe and served as a key growth driver behind a 25 percent sales increase in the first quarter. After mixed results with the earlier 500 and 600 launches, the brand is expanding its leisure-vehicle range rather than focusing solely on city cars. Fresh energy is clearly flowing through the brand's leadership as it recovers from earlier challenges.
